She's usually out scouting prey. Large, large prey she could bring the pack out to trail. Tracking things, watching them as they came and went. Fortune isn't really sure what she's going to find out here. This region had been her home, sure, but it was different. A new home and a new perspective, and she was more than happy to scope it out. What counts, what matters... it seems that all Fortune does these days is put in the leg work, but she's pleased with that. She's pleased with herself in that respect. There is a child, a large child, approaching in her periphery. Fortune's head quirks softly to the side, tail wagging. She really and honestly does enjoy working with the fledglings. They were so lovely, and they had so much they needed to know to be confident, competent adults. It was everyone's job to raise them. Children are important, children and family above all. "Oh hello!" Her tail wags, smiling softly as the child nears. "How are you?" She'd speak to them as she would anyone else, if more friendly. Fortune closes the remainder of the gap, a friendly space. No use in shouting, of course. The day is comfortable around her shoulders, and the brave is more than happy to share it. fortune shock & awe |
