He couldn't recall having been in these parts before, but it was one more place in Auster to explore and investigate, right? As an alpha, it was his duty to get to know the lands around his own to see what they held. Resources such as herbs, water, prey...anything that could aid the pack in the future. This place so far, seemed kind of dark. Uninviting. Not a place that he wanted to linger in for too long as the atmosphere kind of sent chills through his spine, but nothing he couldn't handle, right? He loped down a path, leaves crunching beneath his feet. Somewhere behind him, Kimahri stalked...though his foot steps were alot quieter then Dragon's. The young male was kind of jealous that the Jaguar could be so stealthy, why couldn't he do that? "Hey Kimahri, can wolves be as stealthy as cats like you?" The jaguar stopped at his side, looking at him with a raised brow as he snorted and continued on, "Not when they're all as loud as you are." Dragon watched him with a sort of bewilderment, staring open mouthed at his companion. It took him a moment to recover, and as soon as he did he lurched forward to catch up with him. "I am not a loud mouth!" He exclaimed. Kimahri looked at him with a questioning glance, then suddenly stopped. "We're not the only ones here."

The pair stopped where they were, Dragon's ears moving atop his head as he listened to his surroundings. The dampness of the woods didn't make it easy for him to detect his surroundings, but with a little more concentration he could somewhat make out the scent of another wolf. "Who's there?" His voice was strong, not colored by fear or anything of the sort. He was a big guy, he could handle himself. Plus he had Kimahri with him if things ever got too hairy.
