It was a warm sunny day, perhaps a bit too warm, as Faite lounged under the shade of a tree. The pack had been quiet, partially her fault, though the hunt had been mildly successful as far as turnout. Far better than any hunts she'd attended in Celestial, though she knew that was all up the the members and if they decided to be productive. Fortune had been a giant help - she'd called the activity together at a good time. While hunts were great Faite didn't want all their group activities to be pack meetings and regular hunts, so lately she'd been trying to think up something else, something fun, that would be a good stress reliever. She had a few ideas rolling around, but she hadn't decided on one yet. Then there was all the packs she needed to go see. She'd debated leaving and scouting out each of them. The trip would be rough, but it was something she needed to get done. Her only downfall was she didn't want to leave the pack unattended that long which then led to the question, who did she want as her secondary? At first she'd been fine with the idea that she could do things by herself, she could, but the strain would be easier with someone else. There were also a few candidates she had in mind, but again she hadn't managed to settle on one yet. It would only be a matter of time before she did though. The howl at the borders interrupted her thoughts. It'd been a while since she'd had anyone summon her at her borders. Not wanting the stranger to wait too long, Faite sprung to her feet and trotted towards the territory line. Once the stranger was in view she looked him over. He was large, nearly as large as Zell, but far different in appearance. Had it not been summer she could have almost sworn he had a dusting of snow on his back, but it was much too hot. She definitely had not seen this man before - that she was sure of. Regardless, she offered the man a friendly smile as she approached and came to a standstill not too far away. "Greetings. My name is Faite. What brings you to Lirim?" "Speech" I like to imagine That you smile when you hear my songs |
