It had taken him awhile, but Fable finally decided that it was no use moping around pack lands when there was a whole world to explore. With his sister back he had perked back up a little bit, but it was hard to get over the blame for it all. He had been told that he was being foolish, however it wasn't that simple to just brush it off. Standing at the borders of Celestial, his white toes just over the scent marker, he stared off into the great big world. He had only wandered out once and that was with his father at his side. Fable was no longer a child, he was a whole year old and he could do what he wanted, right? So why was this so hard then? Blowing out a large sigh, he grit his teeth together and pushed off, breaking off into a run. His heart pounded in his chest as fear flip flopped in his belly, but there was no going back now. With the wind in his fur he felt a whole new sense of freedom that he hadn't before experienced. The boy's face slowly started to light up, his blue and yellow eyes bright as he broke out into a full on run. A carefree laugh left his inky lips, this was the first time in a long time that he had felt like this.

Fable didn't slow down for awhile, and when he did he of course had no idea where he was. Sniffing around, he trotted this way and that, but nothing really caught his attention. It had been a few hours now since he had left his pack, but he knew that he could find his way home. Well... hopefully. With his ears flickering back slightly at the thought, he fought to not let it ruin his newly risen mood. He licked at his lips, picking his way across a large plain until he could smell another packs borders. Oh, how far had he come? He hadn't really run into another pack around home, but then again it's not like he even got out very often. Fable stopped several feet away from the border, careful not to get too close. He may be young, but he wasn't stupid. Fable knew the laws of the lands and he wasn't about to break them. He had been raised better than that, to be a very obedient young man. The large gray and white boy skirted the edges of the borders, only pausing when he saw a young child making her way to the boundary line. Instantly he perked up, the child looked very young, far too young to be out on their own. It wasn't his place to butt into another packs members, but he was worried. While he hadn't run into any dangers on his way here, he was full grown. Swallowing hard as he fought internally with himself, he finally just made his way towards them.

As he grew closer her scent grew stronger, and it looked like she was very much alone. Peeking behind the pup he couldn't see anyone, and he wasn't about to walk away just in case she got into some trouble. Clearing his throat, Fable made his presence known to her. His tail picked up and wagged behind him, his features open and friendly. "Hey there!" he woofed softly, stopping with at least five feet between them. He was a bit nervous to get any closer, he didn't want anyone to spot him and think that he was going to harm the little one. "I'm Fable! Can you tell me what pack this is?" Might as well start with some small talk, right?
