He didn’t know where on earth his parents were, and if he went back to them it would only be to live the rest of his life in shame. Otherwise there was his brother who never wanted to see again if he could help it and who hopefully hadn’t found his way to the continent as well. She introduced herself and he felt a small, shy smile return to his features. “P-p-pleasure to m-m-meet you N-n-natiel.” He said with a wan smile. He hadn’t realized before just how alone he truly was without his sister or how much he had come to depend on her despite her sickly nature. Now he was on his own, but there was no reason the girl needed to be troubled with him, no matter how much he needed it. He supposed he had always been a burden, and in this new place, with a fresh start he was determined to change that.
