The she-wolf reacted almost immediately when he called her out on her fib. She straightened out but looked completely embarrassed. His grin transformed to a faint smile, guilt washing over him. He hadn't meant to embarrass her, only to help. He absolutely had to share his catch with her now, in the hopes of cheering her up.
