Baine had one paw across the Celestial border when she heard her brother's howl. It made her jump a bit and she stopped in her tracks to look back over her shoulder toward the sound. The timing was eerie enough to make her a bit unsettled, but she was quick to brush it off. It was just Regulus, she had no reason to be nervous or anything. Her adventures would just have to wait for now! She turned back around to go the way she came and followed the faint echos of her older brother's howl so she could find him. His large red form was always fairly easy to spot of course and she found him fairly easily among the plains. "Hey, Reg," she greeted sweetly as she trotted up to him, her tail wagging gently behind her. The only good thing about their parents being gone was that she couldn't think of anything that could be bad news for a while. Her heart still ached when she thought about them, but at least now they could relax for a moment without fear of something else bad happening. She reached up to press her nose to Regulus' cheek before she smiled softly and asked, "What's going on?" |
