Wasting our tears
and chasing our fears

Pyralis continued to watch the bird with interest. It didn't seem particularly perturbed by her but it wasn't unaware either and as it went about its business it would stop frequently, head twisting sharply to look at her in the staccato motion of birds. A snort caught her attention and she turned to spy another woman nearby. She was cloaked in a torn pelt of black and didn't seem particular pleased to see her. Another grump perhaps? Pyralis grinned. The north was shaping up to be an excellent place to cause trouble. Of course she supposed she shouldn't be wasting so much time exploring it. It seemed that her family was now planning to move down farther south and she found herself torn. She'd gotten it in her head to explore all the north and by goodness she certainly wanted to but on the other paw it wasn't doing her family much good if they chose to move down to Auster. Ahhh… the trials of the scout.

"Oh? That's a shame? I was more just planning to kill it, just to see how they die." They were odd creatures and she could only assume that one killed them by biting into their fat, fluffly little necks. Her head tilted to the side though as she turned back to the woman. "What is it that eats them? Don't tell me you make a living hunting sea beasts?" She grinned.
