This place wasn't amazing but it wasn't terrible either she supposed. Pyralis peered about the valley. Though the riverbed was dried up there was still enough vegetation and shelter within the valley to make it a draw for prey. She eyed a small herd of reindeer grazing not far off but she opted to ignore them. She'd gorged herself on the corpse of a seal not long ago and felt sated enough to continue her journey. Perhaps she was taking this task to seriously? Ha! Seriously? Goodness, there was something wrong with her that she was taking anything in this mortal world seriously but she supposed, if she were honest for once, she did feel a bit guilty about abandoning Amon and his young family but it was never in her spirit to linger in one place. Or at least it hadn't been. With her constant travels though she was beginning to feel that it might be nice to just settle in one spot for the fall and winter. Eyes narrowed at the sound of approaching paws and Pyralis looked up as another woman spoke.

"You up here escaping the heat too?"

Pyralis let her eyes travel down the pale woman's body, taking note of the scars and the musculature that screamed fighter. Oh? Now things were getting interesting. She grinned. "Nay, in fact I think I should like to get back to the heat but I have a task to explore this place and I find it much easier to do before the snows come. I take it you are from the southern lands?"
