How wicked these hours

A tangle of scents teased at Pyralis' nose as she eyed the other woman. It had been awhile since she'd been in the presence of another and the unusual sweet tang of the woman's scent was difficult to place until it suddenly hit her, causing her head to tilt just slightly to the side. Was the other woman aroused? Surely not by Pyralis. Perhaps she was just keyed up and looking for relief when she'd happened upon the larger woman.

The stranger replied that she was from here and there which roughly translated to nowhere. This woman had no home and Pyralis would nod slowly. "I see, you are from nowhere then. So am I, for the moment. But I do intend to return with my family to our true home, eventually. For now though I'm hoping to find a temporary place to settle. What of yourself? Do you seek a belonging or just flitter about untethered?"

If she had to guess she'd say the woman was the rambling sort but it was terrible to assume. Her grin would widen at the mention of a traveling partner. "Why yes! I most certainly would be. It would break up the monotonous gray of this dreary day. I am Pyralis Abraxas, what is your calling?"
