How wicked these, How wicked these hours Now this was truly a mystical land. Pyralis slipped through the dark spruce, gazing into the rain-filled basin and admiring the budding signs of life here. Finally she was discovering the treasures in the northern lands and she marked this as another potential hunting spot. Of course the trick with the north was that while the hunting might seem good now in the summer it was bound to take on a hellish mask in the winter when snow and ice would attempt to strangle the life right out of the creatures who were audacious enough to call the place their home. On one paw it would breed tough and sturdy creatures but on the other why bother? There were other ways to toughen up her brothers children without resorting to suffering for suffering's sake. |
Please note that Pyralis is a ghost. It is up to you to decide what level your chars can see/hear her. She was killed by having her throat ripped apart. At times the wound may be visible and be actively bleeding.
