Lark was determined not to be late for the next pack meeting, especially after how he'd showed up to the previous one. He still didn't feel that interested in discussing his and Lillianna's relationship, and if he had even a sliver of chance to know when the next meeting would be called he would gladly avoid her that day. Lark found himself feeling grateful when he heard his father's call that he hadn't been with her this time, and thus wouldn't be late. Without hesitation, he headed in the direction of the call, ambling there gladly.
He was glad to hear that his father's call had an air of positivity to it that he hadn't heard in quite some time, and when he approached the small group that had begun to gather he swore Bass looked younger than when he'd seen him last. An easy smile played at Lark's features as he settled down near his father, enjoying the lack of dread he felt -- pack meetings always seemed to bring drama and tension, no matter what, and he hoped this one would be different.
