This Is Bad

Time was of the essence. The state he had last seen the woman in was pretty questionable, so he wasn't sure if when he led them back to the scene of the crime, if they would even have a body to identify. He hoped for the woman's sake that she was strong enough to hold on. Help was coming. Golden gaze was fixated on Gerhardt as he instructed him to take Elphaba, the woman that come up beside the king, urging him to take them before the king had been able to asses the situation. But just as his lord was giving him instructions, a second member decided to make an appearance. The esquire turned in the direction of the newcomer, realizing it was a younger female, perhaps a newer pack member. She seemed eager to put forth her assistance, despite the severity of the situation. He respected that. Very courageous of her. His attention was drawn back to the king as he continued to speak, including the young woman Switchback into the mission, assigning her the responsibility of being their messenger in case anything were to happen. A curt nod was presented to the violet-eyed man in acknowledgement of his assignment. Yes sir. I will make sure to be back as swiftly as I can with the woman if possible. He didn't want to voice the fact that she very well could be dead. He had to keep up hope. The grey and black brute turned to his fellow companions, giving each a brief nod. Switchback, Elphaba, follow me. Stay close, the rogues that attacked the woman might still be in the area. And he was off, his pace a moderate gallop as he led the two women back to the scene of the crime, hopefully where there was a fellow pack mate for them to rescue.
