One giant leap

She had hesitated on the very edge of where her pack's borders ended for a long time. She still wasn't sure if she should be out here on her own, but her brothers were off doing something on their own at the moment and she didn't want to bother her parents and she reeeeeeally wanted to go exploring! She hesitantly left the plains and crossed over into the moor, trying to be extra careful where she went and paying close attention to where she was going so she wouldn't get lost. She really wasn't even that far from home, but it sure felt like it! She had never been this far from her parents or brothers before! She found a really pretty smelling purple flower and she sniffed at it curiously while her tail wagged behind her. This was one of the flowers she had seen her momma collect before! What did she call it? Lavadar? No, that didn't sound right... Lav-something for sure! Etain stumbled for a second as her tail wagging wobbled her thin frame off of her hind leg, but she didn't even flinch. She just hopped back up and kept investigating her new found flower. She fell over so often that she hardly noticed. Her bright blue eyes looked around her excitedly while she peered through the mist and wondered what other kind of plants and stuff there were here. |
