And when she was through speaking, and he just leaned against her, she sighed quietly. A small smile appeared on her face at his words, and it was only the lightest of chuckles that answered him. She definitely tried, that was for certain. She took care with her words now, unlike the little spitfire she had been as a yearling. She tilted her own head, resting the top of her cheek against the top of his head, no more words coming from her as she let Bass have his wish - no more words, just... enjoying time with someone who cares and not worrying about the problems of the day anymore.
