Derecho asked if he would really do that, and eagerly he nodded. Of course he would! Why not? He wished that he had had someone to do that for him as a child, but there had been so much going on that they got pushed to the side. The boy was still trying to understand it all, but it would come along with time. Right now it all sat on his shoulders as his fault, because he wasn't good enough. Here with her though, there was none of that weight, He was a lot more carefree then he had felt in ages, even for a wolf so young he felt so burdened at times. He wanted to show her how grateful he was for this, so exploring the lands would be a good start. OF course he would have to meet her parents and her alpha to ask if it was okay, he would never whisk her away without seeking permission first. That would get them both into a lot of trouble, and was far from his intentions. "We can talk to your parents and your alpha to make sure, and then I can ask my alpha too! It will be a lot of fun but we gotta make sure it's okay first. I can come back, or you can howl for me and I can listen!" This was still the west according to her, so he should be able to hear her, right?

When it came to the question of what she did, she mentioned siblings and just a mother. His smile faltered a touch, was her father not around? Oh great, and here he was talking about parents and she only maybe had one. His ears flicked back slightly, he hoped that he didn't offend her. But then she spoke about snakes, which made his yellow and blue eyes grow wide. Woah, they played with snakes? He avoided them at all costs, but here they were seeking them out. "You're really brave!" Fable woofed as he flopped on his back, his tail wagging through the grass under him. He wasn't sure he would ever want to play with a snake. Frogs, sure, but not snakes. Derecho pushed her smaller paws against his and he stretched out his toes, playfully pinching at the underside of her own paws with a laugh. Turning the question on him, he had to pause to think. Nothing was really fun anymore, now that most his siblings were gone and the pack had grown still. "Not much..." he said with a frown, flopping his head over the border just slightly. "It's been quiet so I've been exploring a bit more. I traveled to a whole different land with visit some family, that took almost a week to get to! It was pretty fun. But I like to learn, a lot." He rambled, itching the top of his head in the grass.
