a place to call home

hang on to the glory at my right hand
When Natiel had maded her offer to share a home with Spider, she'd questioned it instantly. How would she find a place that would suit them both? She'd seen some of the south, but not enough to have had a place in mind yet.
The forest would have been fine for her, but it frightened him so she wouldn't push the issue. She led the way out and into a much brighter patch of trees in practically no time at all. The orchard was teeming with life. She could hear animals skitter away as they approached and her stomach vibrated slightly in response to the noise. It wouldn't be all that hard to find a meal here. Nati stopped once they'd passed a few trees, and looked to Spider for his opinion. "So, what do you think of this?"
