It would just take a moment… and it’d be more convenient if he could actually see her. “Voulez-vous sortir? Je ne vais pas vous blesser. Sur mon honneur en tant que guerrier.” Perhaps a bit of gentle convincing was all it would take... depending on how naive the child actually was.
