Ankaios was surprised by a sudden voice. As usual, he had been lost within his own meditations, and a stranger had wandered up. He couldn't be surprised; the gardens were incredibly popular with herbalists from all over the continent. All the same he stiffened, and straightened. He turned to see a male with a very impressive bit of fur sweeping over his eyes. He wanted to marvel and Kai, but he was not exactly what one would call standard either. "Ah well," he said. "Most do. Have a look then," his tone was clipped, but it was said in the most amicable way he could while feeling... slightly awkward. Deep down he was not always comfortable with the attention he received, but he tried not to let that show. "I'm hunting for Boneset, do you know of it?"

After all, he was not the sort to turn down a bit of help. And shouldn't this man pay for his appreciation of arts, such as himself? Looking is not always free, after all. He wondered if perhaps the man was a healer of some sort, else why would he have come to the garden? He might have a bit of knowledge of his own to offer, when all was said and done. "My name is Ankaios Aeris, by the way. Then again, I'll respond to almost anything," she said with a curved smile, trying to force a bit of humor to lighten the mood. He didn't know what sort of character this other wolf had, and was always more than a bit wary of meeting strangers.
