He squealed with laughter and raised his paws to bat at Bass’s nose, his small body wriggling under the adult’s wrists before a mighty yawn overcame him, nearly pulling back his entire face. He sneezed and blinked his suddenly heavy eyelids, trying to fight off sleep for as long as he could. He wanted to see more he wanted to do more but despite his best efforts he could already feel warmth beginning to pool in his body. He yawned again “I love you Bass.” He mumbled tiredly, just barely managing to convey his message before his eyes closed. His head drooped, then lifted, then drooped again only to bounce back up determinedly, and then drooped again for a third and final time. The lesson had been enthralling and he had finally had Bass all to himself, but now he was simply burned out, and like all pups he fell into a deep sleep without any disclosure, his tiny body splayed on the alpha’s chest. It would take nothing short of an earthquake to wake him now, and even a his tiny body began to slide to the ground he continued to snooze, undisturbed save for a small twitch in his paw.
