It was almost startling how much of herself she saw in this girl. She'd studied to be a healer like her mother as well, it was her greatest desire to be as good as mother though there were many days she doubted she would ever be able to accomplish such a feat. There was one way in which she differed from this pup. She'd been so terribly shy as a little one she'd never have thought to speak with a stranger. The girl introduced herself as Etain and Lydia wondered if she should escort the little one back into her pack borders or perhaps ring out a call. What was the protocol for this situation?

Lydia nodded. "Yes, I'm training to be a healer like mother too. I've learned a lot but I still have so much more to learn." She laughed lightly as the girl hopped up and down excitedly. "I'd love to! As long as your parents don't mind. Since we have some lavender here how about we talk about that? I use lavender sometimes to help me sleep, it can help patients to relax and even numb pain." She opted to keep it simple for now, there were numerous uses for lavender but those were the basics.
