Blood Trail

The lanky child was out with Bones gathering more food to help keep his mother's strength up. He couldn't heal her wounds, but he could at least help her survive and that's what he planned to do. The rainbow boy looked over at his companion who willingly stayed even though they had found his mother. They had bonded and he was vary fond of the relationship he had with the devil. Together the pair were able to catch enough rabbits to feed them all and while hunting they were always making rounds in the territory keeping an eye out for trouble. Hearing his mother's first call made him perk, yet worry still bubbled through his veins. Why was she answering that other wolf?
She then called for him and he turned his gaze to Bones. Huffing slightly he got up from his spot and together the two began to gather their three rabbit kills and padded back towards the barn. Chasm was glad his mother was able to get herself into the barn, it had been much better shelter especially now that winter was here. It was going to be a lot harder to survive the winter, but Chasm was not willing to give up on his mother.
Trudging through the territory they neared the barn in enough time to see the dark figure of a wolf enter the barn. His hair prickled though he kept himself calm. His mother knew this wolf and called him here so things had to be okay. He got to the doors before peeking his head around the door, looking in at what was going on. Not one, but two wolves stood by his mother, one looked to be comforting her and the other, well he just got here.
He then let the rest of his body fallow his head and the rainbow child quietly approached the group. His mouth was full of two large rabbits and behind him Bones fallowed with the third, and most mangled rabbit in his jaws. Going to his mother's right side he laid the creatures on the ground and took a seat his bi colored eyes examining the two males as he remained quiet.
