Mara tried desperately to conceal the grin worming it's way onto her lips. It wasn't like her to go around smiling, but Pyralis' excitement was pretty infectious - with good reason, the sea beasts were freaking awesome - eventually overwhelming Mara who let out a soft laugh accompanied by a small smirk. Maybe she'd do this again even after her partner in crime was gone. It was kind of satisfying to watch the birds get slapped against the water so mercilessly. One hell of a way to go, that was for sure.

Turning to Pyralis, she listened to the bit about brothers and grimaced a bit, being reminded of her own irksome sibling who'd been MIA since the day she arrived in this place. Maybe eventually she'd track him down, if she had any clue where to even start... "I've never done well with expectations. Annoys the hell outta me. But yeah, another venture in trouble-making and feeding strange beasts doesn't sound too terrible. See you around, then."
