"Ohhh reaaally now?" Lillianna challenged, though she dropped it pretty quickly with a small smile. She wasn't expecting a response; she already knew the answer. He'd been as productive as she, which was to say... not at all, really. It was something they both needed to work on, though winter definitely made her feel lethargic and bored. It was much easier - and warmer - to stay in the confines of a den than it was to actually go out, and, well, do things. Of course, the first day she decided to do things, this crap happened.
Lillie waited for an answer, her entire body tense. Hopefully he knew something. Hopefully. She didn't want to bother Bass, not yet, not if it was a false alarm, not if it could be solved between them. His response that it was none of his business made her flatten her ears, though. That was it? He wasn't going to try and figure it out? She still let him finish speaking while he said all of it, doubt flashing through her eyes as he said he believed Sparrow didn't want to hurt her. She... doubted that.
Lillianna cringed at the end, heaving a loud sigh. "Yes. I was.... hoping to not get him involved." She gave him a small, rueful smile. "I was hoping that maybe she confided in you, so we could solve this on our own. But it might look like we need him. Maybe, though, you could talk to her first? Try to figure out what's going on? Maybe she'll be less hostile towards you since you're her brother?" she suggested quietly, a slight gleam of hope in her eyes.
