She waited calmly for the man's response, bright gold eyes surprisingly emotionless and guarded as she watched him. She met his emerald gaze, showing neither an inclination towards aggression nor friendliness. Instead her body language would begin to convey the curiosity that pervaded every inch of her being. One orange-backed ear flicked to the side as she took in his words. "Alpha..." she repeated the word softly to herself, digesting it and mulling it over. Had any of the others met this alpha that they'd likely be neighbors with? She could only assume his pack was nearby, after all, it was his job to stick around it. She decided it must be some stroke of good luck that she'd managed to bump into this wolf by chance. An opportunity seemed to lie here - she'd not let it go to waste. Her sculpted muzzle tilted skyward, eyes roaming as she considered how to respond. Maybe it would be good to not share her name... Ah, that would be suspicious though. Maybe she'd just, "My name is Razi, it's a pleasure to meet you, Dragon Ancora." Patient, serious, calculated. That was how you got answers and slipped seamlessly through the world of mortals without them ever knowing the true intentions of the being they were entertaining. She took on a friendlier tone, though it lacked energy. Hopefully he might think she was simply a bit reserved, not en entirely wrong assumption considering the many far louder personalities of her relatives. "Oh, sorry!" she gave him an apologetic smile before continuing, "I was hoping you could tell me a bit about this place. I've only just gotten here, and I'm a bit lost. I was supposed to meet someone on this continent but I'm not really sure where anything is." |
