"Excellent!" Her ears pricked up a bit, showing her excitement. So nice of him to be so helpful... There was an inward grin with a dark twist to it but she didn't let her face betray it, instead saying, "I must have gotten turned around a bit... I think I was further west at some point." Her expression was sheepish as though she was embarrassed at her poor directional skills. Truth be told she really was honestly glad for the help though, it would be easier to locate where Amon and the rest were with someone who knew the area helping her out a bit. She was clearly no navigator, that much was certain. Taking a second to consider what was best to say and what was best to keep closely guarded, she had to think on how to respond. "I do believe it was a bit more south, though to be perfectly honest I'm not sure what land they settled in. It was a bit up in the air but they do have a penchant for finding interesting and well hidden places. Are there canyons or places less traveled? I suppose if nothing else I can always see if I pick up a scent on the way..." Smiling politely at Dragon she'd add, "I wouldn't mind a bit of company at least for a while if you don't mind. If you don't mind I'd be interested in hearing about your pack; that is, if you aren't tired of talking about it already. I'm sure being an Alpha you get to talk about it all the time." Swishing her dark tail thoughtfully, Razi seemed to contemplate whether or not she'd actually say the next bit but eventually gave in. "If you do tell me a little bit I might share something about myself in exchange, though I'm not sure how interesting I am. Might not be an entirely fair trade." Maybe she didn't have the most finesse when it came to getting information, but so far she hadn't asked or said anything some hopeless wanderer wouldn't say. Not too bad, right? |
