Rahovart was in a sour mood… but what a surprise that was, right? With her heat coming in fuller force the female had decided to take her raging hormones out on just about anything and everything she came across. These oaks, a place she’d claimed temporarily for herself for the season, bore marks of her aggression. Trees stripped of bark… bones littering the area from her prey… Raho did not want to be disturbed by anyone during this time. Her father was but one exception to the rule… or any of her family she supposed. But if a stranger dared show up…
But when Rahovart caught the scent of a stranger several days after her father’s visit her lips curled into a snarl. Who dared to cross into her domain? Sure she was smaller than her father, some of her other family members, but she was by no means a weakling. This mortal, whomever it was, would pay for disturbing her.
Her claws dug into the soil as she neared him, a man of monochrome colors. To her surprise he rivaled her in size… an equal match. But Rahovart wasn’t daunted by this. With a snarl she lunged for the brute’s left hind leg with open jaws, aiming to clamp down and make him regret daring to come here. Damn mortals had to learn their place. |
