kiss of the bay

His sister was a bit away, playing in the bay. She always seemed so amused by the little things. Sitric wished he could be as carefree as her, but he had promised their mama that he would always be the one to ensure Mikaela's safety. In order to do so, he had gone through intensive training. To master how to think, speak, and act smarter. Out of the corner of his eye, her figure quickly darts into the brush and before he can curse her desires to make his life difficult, a stranger shows up. Ear flickers forward as the stranger lets out a friendly bark. He didn't seem like an issue, although appearances were deceiving at times. "Yes," he greets, taking a couple steps forward. Normally he wouldn't of spoken, instead just turn his back and hoped the other would leave, but a diversion was required. He didn't want the canine to realize his sibling was hidden, so he would venture closer to avoid the male from approaching. Rough vocals are clear, precise with his command as he merges into his native tongue. "Inte kommit ut ännu. Främling./Don't come out yet. Stranger." He hoped Mikaela had not journeyed too far, unable to receive his words as green orbs shift over gray adolescent. Hopefully he wasn't a speaker of their language. Otherwise, Sitric had just blown his sibling's cover. Although the skillful thinker always had another trick up his sleeve.
