OOC name: Keno
Name: Tempest
Gender: Female
Design: Aella's Design / Spot
Personality:

Calm? What calm before the storm? There is no such thing with the youth; she is the embodiment of a storm raging in full. Bipolar has taken a hold of Tempest in the worst sort of way, coming out in forms of anger or chronic depression. Granted there are very brief periods where the child might seem okay, but make no mistake… these periods of so called happiness and positive energy are always short lived. Perhaps they are but brief glances at how Tempest could be were it not for her disorder. But no, more common to be seen is the seething rage that takes her and makes her a bear to be around.

Her energy is often spent in arguing or fighting in some way, shape or form. Getting bloody doesn’t bother Tempest… though she might refrain from it if Storm is around. While the girl might not outright admit it she cares deeply for her mother, almost enough to try and curb the fierce personality she has. Tempest loves Storm with all her heart, idolizing the blind woman and wanting to make her proud. This is where her problems with depression come in. Tempest can recognize that she’s angry a lot, but feels helpless to do anything about it. She feels guilty… but there is part of her that also doesn’t want to stop. It is these mixed feelings that eat at her in a constant battle for what’s right.

As Tempest grows older these periods of anger will grow even more intense and get her in more physical danger. She’ll be reckless, headstrong, and even a bit careless when it comes to interacting with others. She feels, despite how much bigger or smaller than them she is, that she’s better. But is this really true? Or is it a cover, a front, for feeling inferior? Yes, the mighty Tempest feels inferior to others, and because of that her anger and misery only grows. She is afraid of failure… terrified by it… and views ultimate failure in the form of death.

Another thing to note about this rage-child is the fact that when she wants something she pines after it with all her being. An obsession almost as she works to get whatever she desires. She doesn’t give up, doesn’t give in, working with a stubborn determination to the point of collapse. Her will is unshakable -- nothing will change that. Once Tempest sets her mind on a task or object there is no changing it… for stubborn willful energy can rival the Bipolar Disorder that stirs within her.

RP Sample:

Friends… did she really need them, Tempest wondered? Her golden eyes were fixed on the sky outside of the den, her mind shifting this way and that as one of her inner battles waged on. She certainly didn’t feel as if she needed friends when she didn’t even rely on her siblings. Cloud was okay, she supposed, though the femme didn’t particularly care for the sex of men. Tyranis was nothing but a shit, and the young girl hated him. Prancing about claiming he’d be Primo… who’d let a furball like him lead anything? Surely Bass’d think twice before letting Tyranis follow in his pawprints?

Tempest rolled to her paws, glancing over her shoulder at her mother. She was… clingy with Storm. A larger pup, but one that almost wished in some ways she could be a baby forever. She was sure her mama wouldn’t approve of this boiling anger inside of her… nor her hate towards men, particularly Tyranis… but how could she change her views? No, Tempest growled to herself. That was impossible. Men were scum, at least to some degree. Even Bass… though he was nicer scum she guessed. Maybe she just didn’t like him cause he was in charge and Tyranis wanted to be in charge.

Tempest gave a huff, golden hues shifting skyward again. It was starting to get lighter… and soon she’d be out and about. Then she could do something to let go of some of this energy. Her claws dug into the soil… Maybe she could get away with a “spar” with Ty? Though she was sure they’d be too rough… then their mama would get upset. No… that wouldn’t do. With a huff the girl flopped down, trying to get some shut eye before dawn fully came.
