Care to Entertain?

He was feeling a bit more confident than the last time he had been here. After meeting the huge red man it had gotten the ball rolling with his interest in fights and sparring. Even if he hadn't done incredibly well in his last fight, the act of fighting still made him feel strong. All of his traveling as of late had toned up his muscles and he was perhaps a bit more slender than he should be. When he took a deep breath in outlines of his ribs stood out, but it was simply because his traveling had worn off all the fat on his bones and he hadn't really paused long enough to hunt more than was absolutely needed. The recent growth spurt certainly hadn't helped matters either. He paused and looked around the battlefield curiously. He kind of hoped that he would find an opponent quickly so he wouldn't have to wait around too long. If nothing else Pyre was eager and ready to get started. What he lacked in practice and skill he made up for in ambition. His blue eyes scanned the land around him till they finally landed on a darker figure in the distance. There! He turned and trotted over to the man. As he got closer he could tell the stranger was older than him - like a lot older. But he didn't really care about that. Maybe he would have a lot of stuff Pyre could learn from him. "Hey!" he said as he came around to face the red-eyed man. He offered the other man a grin and asked, "Were you wanting to spar?" |
