Once more the male was feeling as though his life had no purpose. Cealum had disappeared and no matter how hard the male had looked he was unable to fallow a decent trail. He was left on his own again. Along with that he had fallen into a bit of a depression again and had taken into remembering the attack and blaming himself for not protecting her, not staying with her, and most of all not telling her that he loved her. When he had reunited with Cealum he started to feel better and feel as though he had something to occupy his thoughts and even his feelings. They had even grown vary close one evening, but it was ripped away when Cealum disappeared. So he was stripped of the life he knew once more and left feeling vary lost withdrawing into a shell and at some points wondering why he was even alive. His heart ached and the male wasn't getting any younger, so what could he do to help himself. He had thought of seeking out packs, but he didn't even know where to start and honestly didn't feel like it. So he sulked and he remained in the tattered makeshift den only doing as enough to keep him going. The worrier had fallen and his heart torn from the loss of his lover. He was sure he would die this way, alone and in this tattered den without any other soul to know until they found his bones years later. He snorted as he curled into a tighter ball the scarred male gently huffed squeezing his eyes shut so that all he could see was the darkness. He needed to hunt soon, but the male felt unmotivated to do so. He just wanted to sleep a little bit more. A young booming howl rang out throughout the territory making the older male's ears perk and his eyes open to listen. His song sounded so full of hope and full of youth that the older male felt his blood warm. Something about it called to him, spoke to the youthful Inverno that was locked deep within his depressed shell. He took in a breath before unwrapping himself. Crawling from the small cramped den the male stretched out his lanky form warming up his muscles and preparing them for movement. Finally a large yawn passed his lips before his orange-gold eyes looked towards where the call came from. Vern wasn't sure if he could handle being within another pack, but the younger male's voice drew out his curiosity and drove him to the call. Tall lanky form moved through the brush crossing into the territory of the weeping woods. t wasn't long before the scarred male saw the pair up again, both so young and both beautiful. Exotic coloring unlike he had ever seen which drew him to them even more. Moving forward he quietly dipped his head, a sign of respect to the new king and queen. No one else was here, though he was sure more would come and quietly he sat his tail giving a vary light wag in quiet greeting. Talking & Thinking |
