She was out today taking Aten herbal hunting. She knew he kept up well enough and was confident that he stayed at her side or heels with ease. She wasn't the fastest of women out there yet if she needed to be she could be. She had trekked far from the den now, part of her wanting to regime themselves after she had lost two of her children. Aten was doing well she felt to hold it together but it didn't mean she didn't worry about her little warrior. She gave a glance to him as she moved with her slowed limp. Her mouth was filled with her last bit of herbal stash and a deer pelt was over her back. She wanted to keep him comfortable when she found a new den. She promised herself that she would wait as long as she could for the other two, but had finally lost hope that they were still alive.

She stopped for what seemed like the fiftieth time today to catch her breath and make sure Aten was close and fine. Her ears pricked at the sound of a howl nearby and she blinked. Sounded to her like a summoning howl for the start of a pack. Her ears pressed back, she wanted Aten I be normal but at the same time she wasn't completely comfortable with joining a pack, for fear of being seen as a curse or weak. Neither of which she knew was true, but couldn't help what some saw. She had Aten to think of though. Without another thought she aimed a nudge at his shoulder with her nose and started towards it. Her tail she moved to rise above her hips, hoping to appear confident despite her disability.

As she came to see them she stopped and took a deep breath, choosing to remain somewhat to the back of the gathering. She lowered her head and released her bundle of herbs on the cold ground before she maneuvered herself to sit. "Let's see what this pack is about Aten, I'm sure it can't be all bad." she was quiet as she spoke to him with a reassuring tone. With that she quieted herself and looked to the male that seemed to be heading this. The pelt slid down her back and bunched behind her.
