You would not believe your eyes if ten billion oceanflies

There was a laugh, then a voice. Ashmedai stopped cold, glowing water flowing out of his open jaw.

"What are you doing?" He spat out a little more water, laughing.

"I'm playing. Ever heard of it?" Ashmedai was sassing her, sure, but there was no malice in his voice.

He kicked the water, "Ever seen anything like it? It's pretty stunning, huh? Reminds me of fireflies, or maybe the sky."

Ashmedai looked to the stars. Now, he really wondered which the water more resembled.

"I was thinking if I bit into them, maybe I could glow too. Maybe if I could find some pups, I'd trick them into thinking I'm a ghost. Or an adult- sometimes they believe in that stuff too."

Ashmedai came a little way out of the water, "Wanna try? I'm Ashmedai, by the way. What about you?
