The woman said she had never seen a grown wolf playing. Ashmedai scoffed, "Really? Well clearly you grew up around the wrong wolves.

She touched the water as if hesitant, saying she was scared it might burn. Ash tilted his head. She was right, in a way. It totally could have burned, but it was also water. Water didn't burn.

"I've never thought water could burn. Just where did you grow up?" he asked with a lopsided grin.

She said she didn't want to eat them and that the water tasted weird. Ashmedai shrugged. Pyralis said she would join him for a swim and gave her name, musing whether or not there would be fish in the water. Ashmedai laughed a little, "Well, if there were any fish, I've scared them away by now."

Ashmedai moved around slowly in the water. "So, can I ask what brings you out here? I never even knew this place existed."

As he waited for an answer, he sunk his face into the water until his nose was just above the glowing surface, his eyes going crossed slightly as he watched the water glow when he swam forward.
