He grinned at the woman's introduction of herself. Pyralis eh? She was amusing. He had no doubt she'd put up a pretty good fight, which was well and fine with him. He needed a good workout today. "I like her." Kimahri rumbled from beside the earthen man. Dragon chuckled a bit, a spark in his eye, "Me too." Indeed she was a fine looking specimen, and he was sure she had a fiery attitude to match her looks as well. "I do believe it's ladies first, if you don't mind." So she was itching for a fight as much as he was, it seemed. "Go right on ahead, Captain Abraxas." He'd respond, the pair setting themselves roughly ten feet apart from one another. Kimahri's eyes dilated with the thrill of a fight, claws flexing in the dirt. "Not yet." Dragon muttered, much to Kimahri's displeasure. Though he was displeased, he'd get his chance in a bit. For now, he'd wait for his moment.
Dragon turned his full attention to the woman, she was larger than he was, but probably didn't weigh as much. He wasn't sure though, and he wasn't about to ask. One thing he was smart enough to do was not ask a woman her weight, if he did, he'd probably lose an ear or something. He'd mirror his opponent, setting his defenses up before she decided to launch her attack. Hackles bristled along his spine, head lowering and tail flagging out to fall in perfect alignment with his spine. Toes flexed upon the ground, claws biting the dirt to aid with traction. Shoulders rolled forward and his scruff bunched to help protect him, eyes narrowed on his opponent and he bared his fangs, muzzle wrinkling as well as his face; skin bunched up around his eyes to help further his attempt to protect himself.
Finally Pyralis would launch herself forward, and Dragon would likewise launch forth and the pair would attempt to collide. However, it would seem that Pyralis had other intentions as she set herself a foot towards her left and aimed to come at him at an angle. With a growl, Dragon would shift to his left with a sidestep before pivoting to his right, attempting to keep them almost head to head. He kicked off with his hind legs, aiming to slam the whole of his chest against hers, and the male hoped his heavier bulk would be able to aid in pushing her back. Though her shoulder would miss his right foreleg and would instead strike against the bottom right portion of his chest, a moderate bruise sure to blossom upon his flesh, though for now he'd take no notice of it. As her head rose to attack his face, Dragon's jaws were open and ready.
The earthen male would tilt his head to his right towards her, jaws agape and fangs dripping with saliva as he aimed them towards her muzzle. Top fangs sought to slice across the bridge of her nose and bottom fangs sought to hook upon the delicate flesh of her nose [counter]. He aimed to slice his fangs through flesh, attempting to stop her vicious attack towards his own face. With his shift in movement, her attempt at pinning his right forepaw would bode unsuccessful as he brought it up in an attempt to deflect her foot away from his. Though he would try to match her movements the best he could, he'd shift his weight across his other three grounded limbs as best as he could, the male seeking to then hook his right forepaw around her left forepaw in an attempt to drag her left foreleg forward to unbalance her.
Meanwhile Kimahri watched on with hunger, tail lashing behind him as claws flexed in the dirt, the beast pacing in the background.
