Faster yet

It was quiet for a minute or two as he waited for Ashmedai to come up with some form of revenge. But nothing came. After a while, the big male just grumbled and flopped down into the snow. Had he given up so easily?

It seemed he had, at least for now. Alarik smiled a bit as the subject was changed, assumably to the snow. "Yeah, it is," he said in agreement. "But you know, there are some places up north where you can find snow year round." Those were the places Alarik loved to go, especially during the summer. He really, really wasn't a fan of summer.
