She didn't have to go far before her daughter ended up finding her instead. With a hearty wag of her tail, Avalon closed the distance as she aimed to lick Afrit's face. "I did!" She paused, taking a moment to just look at her daughter. She had grown so much...where did the time go? While she wished her pups could be small forever, it simply wasn't the way things worked. Afrit was as large as she was, as were most of her kids. The resemblance that her daughter had to one of her old relatives was astonishing, but Avalon wouldn't have it any other way. Indeed, the Ancora's had good genes.

Returning her focus back to Afrit, she remembered why she had initially been seeking her out. "How would you like to do some training today?" It was a question she probably didn't even need to ask. After all, she was sure that Afrit, like many of the apprentices, were eager to learn everything they could. "What would you like to learn today, dear?"
