Adore grumpily woke up when there were suddenly loud howls and noise everywhere. She barely opened her eyes, considering ignoring Chasm's directions and going back to sleep, but it seemed something was wrong and decided it was better to just go along with it for now. She hung back behind her siblings and kept up a brave, disinterested face as the sound of howls and snarls and all sorts of fighting noises reached them. She wondered what was going on, but Chasm had them in such a hurry that she didn't want to ask. Whatever it was it must be dangerous. She trudged along, silently wishing they could still be in the den napping, until they finally reached the big, main den area that Chasm said they were taking a "field trip" to.
She looked up at Chasm as he instructed them to go and explore and play, which sounded like a pretty good plan in her opinion, but when she looked at Nova and Argus it was pretty clear that her sisters weren't having any of it. She sighed and padded a little further into the cave system, sniffing around the edge of the living space curiously while secretly keeping an ear turned toward the entrance to listen for anyone else joining them... and the fighting going on in the distance. Of course their momma would be fine, right? She was way tougher than any "monsters" out there, as Argus seemed to believe they were. Sounded a lot more like other wolves to her, but she took everything her sibling said with a grain of salt.
