His eyes opened wide as the male introduced himself as a fellow Wreckage. He was family somehow, really the first relative he had seen as far as he knew. “…who would your parents be?” the male asked, and he felt his heart clench just a bit. “M-my mother’s name is storm.” He said, unsure of how to explain to the other male that by all rights he was a bastard. He swallowed a lump in his throat and looked out into the sea beside him. “I never knew my father.” He muttered, almost as if he were confessing to a crime. He glanced at the male shyly and cleared his throat to break the oppressive silence that had sprouted between them.
What would this relative of his think of his mother rutting with some anonymous male? He had always wondered how he came to be sired but had never been able to work up the nerve to ask. There had been a point where he was content to simply love Bass as a father and in his early days had wondered if perhaps he was their father and had simply kept his relationship with his mother- whatever it could possibly be- a secret. It wasn’t until he saw the Primo’s legitimate children that he realized that simply wasn’t possible. Both Bass and his mother had light coats and if Frostbite was a direct relative of him it only proved to serve that his stormy colored coat could nt have come from her and Bass’ union.
