Kait and Baldwin were safe in the den and after a perimeter check he headed out looking to get something for Kait to eat. He was hoping she would be up for moving soon, but he didn't want to rush it and risk her or the young pups life. He just made sure to stick close and do lots of border patrols, concerned that the king would be back for her. Although from what Kait had told him he assumed that the male would have his paws full with his kids and wouldn't have the energy to come after her. Though he kept himself alert, because there was more dangers then just him out there.
Moving forward the large male's nose was to the ground, searching for scents of prey. He wasn't sure what he should hunt today, but he was sure he would run into something around here. He had to move further then normal, heading into unfamiliar territory as he continued to try and find a fresh trail of a prey animal. Though what he hadn't expected to find was the scent of a young wolf, alone. Pausing he looked around before fallowing the trail. Soon the smaller form came into view and it was a young pup out here all by herself. He eyes had concern written all over them as he grew closer, but soon she turned and bared her fangs at him with frustration written all over her face. He stopped giving her space to show he had no ill intentions.
"Easy there spitfire," his deep vocals rumbled. "Why are you out here alone?"
