He had been busy since the meeting. Hearing Heather mention a celebration made him put his efforts into full force to make sure things were prepared for it. Even though he was unsure of all the plans he was still trying to prepare appropriately. He wished he could get a hunt together, maybe he should make the next one mandatory, which he would have to discuss it with Heather to be sure she was ok with that. He did not want to overstep his boundaries with his rank and he was unsure how different Heather's views would be verses his Uncle's. He thought it would be fine, but he felt it would be better to check with her first.
He was just coming back from a successful hunt outside of the pack lands. This kill was much different, one that you didn't get to often. It was an injured doe, broken leg to be exact. It was heavily crippling and led him to the perfect chance to take her. He took her down and was now dragging his kill back to the pack. Though he was a large male the drag from where he killed her had been a distance and he was wearing down as he hit the border of the pack. He headed towards the falls where he had found a great spot behind the falls to store his kills. It was a small cave and was cool enough to slow down the decay of his carcass'.
Though before he could reach the falls his path crossed with Heather's, she was up ahead of him sniffing around on the ground. His tail wagged as he let go of his kill and huffed, taking in a breath so he could prevent himself from beginning to pant. He let out a deep bark letting her know of his presence, if she hadn't heard him already.
"Hey Heather!" he greeted, his tail still wagging and a smile on his face.
