He'd been sitting and waiting for her return, the sounds from whatever had been happening died out but the youth didn't bother to ask what was going on. All he knew was he didn't appreciate being woken up in the middle of the night, but nobody told him why. Chasm had said they could play, but he didn't want to play with his dumb siblings. Argus was strange and useless, at least in his eyes she was. She couldn't see. She was weak. She wouldn't last long. Ah but those thoughts would fade when he heard the approach of his mother, and with her approach came her voice. His ears perked up, crimson gaze searching for her as he emerged from the den. His tail seldom wagged, but it did a little bit now when she said she had something for him. "Wha' issit?" He questioned, trying to keep his voice in its usual reserved and bored tone, but this time, he failed to do so. Instead, it was somewhat excited and curious...what did his mom bring him?
