The lifeless caverns seemed fitting to bury a dead wolf; but it was too easy to think of when looking for a dead wolf. Lilac's yellow eyes watched for any signs of life; there were none. There were a few pits hat could lure a wolf to its death and hide it. Lilac snarled as she realized she wasn't sinking her teeth into a wolf. She wanted blood, not to kill a wolf so easily. But if an angry wolf turned out to be too strong for her, she could go here. Lilac wandered to a pit, looking for the gleam of broken bones or even the slightest scent of blood. But there was nothing to satisfy her need to break a bone or taste blood on her tongue. Lilac held up a paw to her mouth and bit.
The tang of blood filled her mouth, and she let it run over her mouth, staining her fur until she decided to wash it off. Lilac's tongue licked the blood from her jaw. Still, a slight stain remained on her white fur. Lilac waited for the sign of a wolf. She wanted to fight a wolf, and possibly even kill them.
