Roza's brows pulled together with worry as Ganta described what had been haunting him. His siblings, his parents. Worry churned in her stomach and her ears flicked back against her head as he spoke. Act? What was he going to do? The idea that something could happen to him broke her heart... the thought that something could happen to their children pressed on her even more. She glanced toward the sleeping pups, emotion tugging at her. She hadn't loved anything as much as she loved her children. Not Ganta, not her father, not her siblings. The two speckled bundles of fur that were curled together a short distance from her were her world now.

She looked back toward Ganta as he apologized for bringing her into this fight, closing her eyes for a moment as he placed a small kiss on her scar. She wondered at times if she should have just gone back home at Ganta's original warning. She could have avoided this threat entirely and Ganta wouldn't have this fight on his back like this. Roza knew that she was the reason all of this had come to such a furious level. She had stayed with Ganta despite his warnings that his family hated her own and now here they were with a war at their doorstep. But she loved him and there was nothing that could have kept her from staying with him.

"I love you too, Ganta..." she replied after a moment, her eyes finding his. "I do trust you. I promise, I'll take Ulric and Philomena to Fiori if anything happens... but I'm going to stand by you if anything happens." The fire she felt in her belly as she spoke surprised even herself, but the words rang true all the same. "I'm not going to let your siblings back me into a corner and make me run and hide. Your brother is going to stare me in the face and see what he's done. He caught me off guard last time, but... not again." Her voice wavered, but not with fear. There was an anger there that she hadn't experienced before. Was this the protective nature that came with being a mother?
