As he approached his first year Tyranis nearly stood at shoulder height with his mother, his legs had grown long and gangly compared to the rest of his body but his fur had grown in plush and soft like his mothers. Although it was likely he would never meet the beast that had fathered him the question of who the man was exactly had rattled around in The Lightning Bolt’s mind for some time. He knew a male had played some part in his creation, but how and why were a mystery, he knew that Bass was a father but wasn’t his exactly. Why Bass had insisted that they needed a father but was just as insistent that he wasn’t theirs was also a mystery. “Mommy, what’s a father?” He asked suddenly and as simply as one would ask about the weather and then went on frolicking through the blooming flowers as he waited for his mother to answer. It was a question that as far as he knew had never been brought up to their mother before or if it had he had been absent for the lesson for whatever reason. The fact that Corentine might have been the only one to receive the lesson made him momentarily angry but he thought that Cloud might have been there made his sister- for a time- innocent.

Tyranis has a melanistic king cobra companion named Raanee, and a half-blind raven companion named Moses unless otherwise stated assume they are always present
Although it doesn't appear on his tables Tyranis' tail has been docked
