From Past to Present

Darkening clouds were building up on the horizon, bleeding into a pale gray sky. Natha's nostrils flared as a cool breeze slipped through the branches of the oak tree she'd been resting in. She would need to shift her position soon to a place better suited for shelter but judging by the sky she still had a bit of time yet before the darkest clouds moved in. Getting to her feet she stretched, her claws nicking the tree branch. Sheathing them she shifted her position and laid down once more, her great golden eyes closing in contentment. Just a quick nap…
