Rebel without a cause

She had ventured out in the early break of dawn before the sun rose and after the sky had begun to lighten. There were moments when pack life was just too plain, routine after routine, and Jaidah just had to stretch her paws. Today found her near the frog pond, nestled in the fronds of a low-lying branch on a willow tree. She loved these trees, they allowed her to keep hidden when she wanted a break from the others for a while. Perhaps, it was only teen angst that kept her in a perpetually moody state, and gave her a deep sense of wanderlust.
It was days like today that she would often wander off and find things to do, ways to shirk her lessons or anything really. There was something that kept her home, today, but maybe that was about to change. There was a familiar scent on the breeze, and she turned her russet and cream head to look in the direction it came from. 'Hm, the silent one approaches.' She thinks to herself, giving a grin should he spot her. Until he did, she would remain quiet. Only watching him, waiting for him to root her out and strike up some kind of conversation. Maybe she culd convince him to go exploring with her!
