He returned a smile which made her mood even better. She was glad he was one of the few that had stayed. Brandr was really her only friend in the pack and she couldn't imagine how she would feel or what she would do without him. Being distant from her only remaining sibling left her feeling alone at times, but she had tried to help her mother out as much as she possibly could. She had seen her mother go through quite a bit of grief when her children had begun to disappear and now Corentine felt there was more grief to come as Storm had felt it was her family's fault for Bass leaving.
He began to speak confirming her thoughts. He to was unable to sleep, but it seemed that only the two of them decided to leave their dens tonight. His words also made an even bigger smile spread across her face. He was going to do a bit of hunting and she hoped he wouldn't mind some company because she would love to join him. He then asked her the same thing and she returned his shrug trying to hide the teasing grin that wanted to appear on her face. She didn't want to talk about the meeting now, maybe at a later time, but right now she just wanted to forget about it.
"The same really, I couldn't sleep so I thought I might see whats out and about to hunt. Would you care for a hunting partner?" she asked her tail lightly drumming the ground.
