Some mornings the demoness rose early to hunt for Levi but this was not one of those mornings, in fact she was sound asleep, pressed against her brother and likely sucking all the warmth from him. She didn't even feel him getting up, only finally rousing when his words slowly broke through the haze of sleep. She groaned and muttered nonsense as she slowly willed herself awake. Finally heavy lids lifted to reveal brilliant blues and she yawned and stretched. Razor's glinting in her jaw and ears pressed against her skull. Long limbs unfurled and she rose gracefully to her paws, following her brother out into the world. Mammon stood behind him for a moment, shook out her pelt, then moved to stand beside her dearest sibling. "Then are we to hunt together? Or is one of us working for a reward today?" She brushed against him, breathing the words into his ear, leaving little doubt of what sort of reward she considered worthy of her effort. |
