Dust in the Wind

Asha felt freer than she had in a long time which worked out best for her. Of course it was her own fault Abaven hadn't worked out. She hadn't really socialized with anyone and if anything she found that pack life wasn't her favorite thing. She tended to have a one track mind and doing her own thing and causing fun mischief where she could was definitely on the agenda. Maybe she'd just convinced herself a pack wouldn't work because of what had happened to the child when she was a part of the west wind pack. He hadn't died, but her banishment was still fresh in her mind as if it had happened yesterday. Either way it was a hard thing to forget. Being able to explore the lands where and when she pleased was probably the best part about all of it. She had little care as to the fact she was aging and settling down had never been a thought in her mind. Pups were still something she adored, but procreation wasn't her only desire. She tended to be selfish and put her own whims and desires above finding a family. She had the "if it happens it happens" lifestyle and was content with it for the time being. Besides, who could settle down in one spot when there were so many amazing things to discover? It was rather late when she came to the lake and it took only a glance for her to admit that this was probably the perfect spot for her to spend the night. She began looking around for a spot to set up a temporary bed when a male's words caught her attention. What the hell was a nymph? She spotted him easily enough, he was surrounded by fireflies after all, and boldly padded over to him with a soft grin on her face. "What's a nymph?" She asked him curiously as she came to stand a few feet away. Walk, "Talk" Think |
